See, Feel, Frame, Tell!
Heritage on Wheels: The Classics & Coffee Event at the Mercedes-Benz Museum
During a recent visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum for the Classics & Coffee event, I found myself immersed in a world where time stood still. Not just because of the beautiful lineup of vintage automotive, but because photography gifted me the ability to freeze those stories in a single frame.
A Timeless Tribute: Elvis Presley Festival in Bad Nauheim
It’s been over 65 years since Elvis Presley — the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll — first arrived in Germany to serve in the U.S Army. Stationed in Friedberg, he lived in this nearby health city (Gesundheit Stadt) called Bad Nauheim, a place that quietly became part of his history. And it’s been 46 years since his untimely passing in the 1977, yet his legacy lives on.
Leica or Fujifilm: Choosing Your First Camera as a Beginner Photographer
Here’s the thing though— knowing myself, I realised that starting with such a high-end, iconic camera might actually cheat me out of the journey. There’s a kind of magic in working your way up to your dream tool. You earn it. You appreciate it more deeply. And you understand exactly why it suits you when the time comes.
But when you are starting out, the question always comes up: ‘‘Which camera should I get?’’
Mercedes-Benz: The Art of Experience and The Power of Perception
There are brands, and then there are legacies.
There is a reason Mercedes-Benz is more than just an automotive brand - it is, in many ways, a masterclass in legacy, luxury, and emotional design.
Walking into the Mercedes-Benz Centre Headquarters in Stuttgart is not just entering a space. It is stepping into the soul of a brand that has not only shaped the automotive industry but also elevated the very idea of what a brand experience should feel like.
Motel One: A Visual Journey Through Functional Design
The Motel One is an affordable premium brand, chic, efficient, comfort-forward, with smart design and no frills. What I love about the Motel One brand is it’s consistency in design - each location speaks the same language, yet holds its own unique mood. It’s an affordable brand, yes - but with premium design language. This is where Motel One bridges the gap between mid-market affordability and visual sophistication.
A Serendipitous Encounter in Wetzlar: Discovering Heritage Through My Lens
As my son wandered into a quaint boutique shop, hoping to find a toy car, my husband and I followed. Inside he found a little carousel horse he couldn’t resist. I smiled and told my husband I’d just step out for a few minutes to look around.
And right there - directly across the street, stood the most magnificent building I had ever seen. Its warm, red façade was adorned with intricate bronze reliefs, gold lettering, and elegant architectural curves. It felt as though this building had been waiting quietly for me to notice it.
With my Fujifilm in hand, I raised the camera and that connection returned instantly. I must have stood there for half an hour, framing it from different angles, capturing the light, the shadows, the timelessness of its presence. I watched people pass by and stopped to admire it too. I felt a sense of reverence - like I had stumbled upon something sacred.
A Weekend with Maybach in Stuttgart
There is something about the Mercedes-Benz design that leaves me quietly breathless.
Not in a loud, theatrical way -
but in the way a poem holds its power in silence.
This weekend, Stuttgart gifted me a story I didn’t know I was seeking.
A family getaway.
A stroll past the Stuttgart City Library.
And there it was -
Starting Late, But Starting Anyway: My Journey Into Photography
I never imagined I would find myself behind the lens, telling stories with light, mood and stillness. But somewhere between motherhood, rediscovering creative joy, and a quiet longing for something more meaningful, I picked up a camera… and everything changed.
A Visit to Leica Wetzlar: Why I Fell in Love with My Camera All Over Again
We finally took a trip to Leica Wetzlar, the Mecca for photography lovers, and the plan was simple: test the Leica Q3, see how it feels, and if I truly love it-well, it might just be coming home with us. A bold gesture from my husband: ‘‘if you like it, we can buy it.’’
My heart skipped a beat. It’s finally happening!
Fifteen minutes into testing, I walked around the Leica store, cradling the sleek and mighty Q3 in my hands, absorbing every click of the shutter, every elegant detail in the design. But strangely enough… something didn’t click.
Discovering the Legacy of Mercedes-Benz: How One Museum Visit Awakened My Passion for Automotive Photography
I never imagined I would fall in love with cars or automobiles in general.
Coming from a modeling background, I’d ridden in Ferraris and Corvettes, gliding through cities in luxury without ever giving a second thought to what powered the experience. To me, cars were status symbols- expensive toys designed for the thrill, not soul. I never felt connected to them.
Since becoming a mother, I noticed my 2 years old son has this curious obsession for cars. Watching the excitement and intrigue in his eyes whenever one drove by, even more excited when he spot classic cars and he would ask to know what car that was. So what did I do? I started paying attention to cars, noting their models and names in preparation for when the questions come (it felt like preparing for an exam you don’t want to fail at). This still didn’t change the way I felt about automobiles.
But one visit changed that.

A Happy Accident: How a Quiet Moment Turned into Unexpected Inspiration at Schloss Biebrich
There are days when inspiration feels like a distant echo. That was how I felt walking through the gardens of Schloss Biebrich in Wiesbaden - a stunning 18th-century baroque palace that rests gracefully along the Rhein River. The architecture was undeniably beautiful, but somehow, I couldn’t feel it through the lens. I wandered quietly, camera in hand, searching for something that stirred my creative soul. With my family alongside me, we decided to head towards the riverside, hoping the change of scenery would shift the energy. I paused for a moment, turned around, and looked back at the palace. That was when it happened.
Capturing Flavour & Feeling - A Visual storytelling session with an Ice Cream Café
When I first sat down with the passionate new owners of this Ice Cream Café, I knew this wasn’t going to be a standard commercial shoot. Their story was one of transformation- from a former bar and restaurant to a warm, welcoming space filled with sweetness and laughter. What they needed wasn’t just ‘‘photos’’ - they needed their brand story told with emotion, atmosphere, and authenticity.
